Texas School Security – TASA & TASBO

Alarm Integrations / PSX Inc. attends 2016 TASA Midwinter Conference and 2016 TASBO Conference to offer Texas school security solutions.

PSX presented mobile app solutions including the S2 Threat Level Escalator and Mobile Security Officer.

The Threat Level Escalator allows school security and administrators to instantly lockdown a facility with the push of a button. The Mobile security officer allows administrators to manage an entire facility – doors, cameras, and cardholders – on the go from a smartphone or tablet.

Senate Bill 507 (SB507) Video Surveillance Solutions

PSX also presented solutions for SB507 (Senate Bill 507) the mandate for installing video surveillance solutions in special education classrooms in Texas. SB507 is effective in 2016 and schools will be required to install cameras in special education classrooms upon request from parents, officials, and administrators. 2016 TASA Midwinter Conference

PSX attended the 2016 TASA (Texas Association of School Administrators) Conference in Austin, Texas January 24-27. Scot MacTaggart and Alan Morris met with school officials to answer questions about video surveillance, access control, and mass notification/emergency management tools. SB 507 topics were also addressed at the conference. PSX offers solutions to meet SB507 requirements.

2016 TASBO Conference

Alarm Integrations / PSX Inc. attended the TASBO (Texas Association of School Business Officials) 2016  Conference in Austin, Texas March 2-4.
